Some Helpful Information

Prolog publishes works of fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and art bi-annually and is open to all students currently enrolled at Franklin and Marshall College.

HOW TO SUBMIT:
E-mail literary submissions as Microsoft Word attachments to: prolog@fandm.edu.
The attachment should be anonymous, for voting purposes, and use 12-point Times New Roman as its font. The title of the written piece and the title of the attachment should be the same.
Include your [the author’s] name in the text of the email, as you would want to see it in print.
Art submissions should be directed to Kaitlyn Pettengill. All types of art (black and white, color, sculpture, etc.) are welcome. She can be contacted at kaitlyn.pettengill@fandm.edu and can take digital pictures of your pieces if requested.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
Fiction and Creative Nonfiction: Each piece must not exceed 700 words. There is no limit to the number of pieces one may submit.
Poetry: There is no limit to the number of pieces one may submit.
Art: Art must be represented two-dimensionally, and there is no limit to the number of pieces one may submit.

HONORS:
Prolog selects first and second place awards for literary and art submissions, as well as a literary honorable mention. We have been lucky in the past to have published authors and professional artists judge submissions.
The first place winners receive $40 and the second place winners receive $25.
