Thanks to all who attended Diplocon II and especially thanks to those who helped us pull it off! Check back for updates about Diplocon 3!

Schedule and Preregistration

September 30, 2006

THE SCHEDULE IS DONE!!! WOOHOO. Celebrate one and all. On another note, we'll be having a pre-registration sale from October 29th-November 4th. This of course means $5 less from the at door price. If you can't make it here for that, remember that we do have a registration page.

Massages at Diplocon

September 23, 2006

We just got a new guest. Her name is Connie Pierce, a local masseur who is very interested in coming to Diplocon. She will be teaching some aspects of massages - both techniques and important information - and she will be doing massages (for a smell fee). Come learn how to give massages or to better your own abilities.

Guests and Information

September 12, 2006

We have news on two guests that are coming although we may have more. Michael Poe (writer of Errant Story) and Dr. McNinja are almost fully confirmed for coming. We are looking into bringing the Dead Gentlemen so that they can screen Gamers 2. Also, we would love to have a LAN party but we'd need for you all to BYOC, i.e. Bring Your Own Computers. We will also be holding a Pirates game. In case you do not know what Pirates is, it is a game involving ships that you buy in booster packs. Very fun. We are also organizing a visit to the local Comic Store which would allow you to buy whatever it is that you liked at Diplocon. That's all for now.

And More Sponsors

June 2, 2006

This just in: We'll be having a Play-through. What is a play-through you might ask? It literally means that there will be a game always running that will be played through by anyone around. The chosen game for this year is Final Fantasy VII. We will also be getting some stuff from Twilight Creations at the con as door prizes. Hurray for sponsors. More News on guests and such as we get them finalized.

More Sponsors

June 2, 2006

Rio Grande Games is going to be coming down with a demo. Maybe a new and unheard of game... oooooh Spooky. Also, SquareEnix is still due to get back to me so we'll see how that goes. In other news I'm almost halfway done contacting the 500 colleges I set out to contact. Many have replied and shown a great generosity in that they are willing to contact people and one was even willing to print and post adverts that we send them. Started updating the events calendar although I'll leave it offline for a while until it's worth looking at, i.e. has something on it. More updates to come as I start hearing back from the Guest Planner and other sponsors.

Sponsors, Dealers and Guests

May 26, 2006

RedOctane is sponsoring us! So is Bawls, again. The College Bookstore and KB Toys agreed to deal for us so we will actually have a dealers' room this time around.. Still working out some things with the guests (like which ones we want to call). As soon as we know something, you'll know something.
