Jeff Podoshen began in the Business, Organizations and Society department at Franklin and Marshall College in 2005. He currently teaches Marketing Principles, Consumer Behavior and Propaganda and Genocide in the 20th Century. Jeff has also taught in Vietnam and in many Executive MBA programs.

Dr. Podoshen’s main research focus is on consumption patterns. He also has special interests in global marketing strategy. His scholarly articles have been published in the Journal of Services Marketing, Tourism Analysis and the Journal of Consumer Marketing and he has presented his research at conferences of the American Marketing Association (AMA), Society for Marketing Advances (SMA), INFORMS Marketing Science, Association of International Business (AIB) and the European Marketing Academy (EMAC), among others.

Jeff has several years of industry and management experience, as well as consulting, primarily in the areas of sales management and marketing strategy. Prior to his career in academics, Jeff was co-team leader of the E-Commerce Team at Towers Perrin in Philadelphia. Additionally, he served as a technology specialist at Vanguard in Malvern, PA. His consulting clients include The Timothy School of Philadelphia, American Cancer Society and Literacy Volunteers of America.

Originally from Westchester, NY, he lives with his wife, two cats and one rabbit, and enjoys punk rock and metal shows, lithograph collecting, and traveling abroad.
